Don't miss a thing!

Our class has a private Facebook group just for the families & friends of our classroom — a TON of photo sharing and plenty of reminders. Facebook makes getting in a little quirky, so here's exactly how it works.

the class page lives on Facebook
How it works
  1. Ask below! Tell me your name exactly as it appears on Facebook, plus the names and emails of anyone else in your kindergartner's cheering section — grandparents and beyond, everyone is welcome to follow along.
  2. I'll email you a private invite link. Facebook makes me create these one at a time, and every link comes with a timer and a click limit. (Why? Great question. Facebook is weird.)
  3. Follow your link soon after it lands. When you click it, Facebook asks me to let you into the group — I approve you, and you're in!
  4. If your link expired before you got to it, that's just Facebook being Facebook — it happens all the time. I simply make a fresh link and we try again.
  5. It may take a few rounds of links to get the whole crew in, and that is perfectly okay — I will happily keep sending them until every last grandparent is following along.
don't fret and don't be shy — we'll get everyone in!
